03-Heneral Luna : Bayan o Sarili

Many people sacrifice their lives at a young age just to defend their own nation .Nowadays, youth really recognize them about the only thing they really know is Aldub is that how you will show your love to each other or is that the kind of love of idolism not on national heroes but on the celebrity icon .Heneral Luna is a good movie to show the society what do national heroes done for us.
Heneral Luna may actually be just what we need to finally find the heroes of our times. The film breaks the idea of a hero – the monument hero by presenting Luna’s flaws that essentially is his humanity. In the film, we are presented with Luna – isang bida na kontrabida. A character far from the good boy Rizal or the underdog Bonifacio, far from the image of heroes most of us learned from textbooks. The film disturbs the idea of heroism – bayan o sarili? Is it really the question of our generation? Do we really have to choose between our country and ourselves? Or is it not that what we actually do for our country is also for ourselves? And what we do with our individual lives also serves the general interest of our country?

The film questions the idea of nationhood. Ano nga ba ang bayan? A very relevant question that continues to haunt our nation – in the context of the prevailing regionalist attitude, the struggle of the Bangsamoro people for their identity, and the vast labor migration of Pinoys all over the world. Sino nga ba ang Bayan?
After watching Heneral Luna , I do realize that it's not the nation is our enemy but our own selves. It really depends on people on how they wobrk as an individual to make the country success.

02-Daydream Expedition

Do you think of things that interests you? An interest is the feeling of a person whose attention, concern, or curiosity is particularly engaged by something, or something that concerns, involves, draws the attention of, or arouses the curiosity of a person. Basically, an interest is something one likes to do.

In fact, all of us wants to travel but one time I've been thinking before I go to international countries why start in my hometown the Philippines .I realized that I don't need to take a Tourism course just to travel abroad or out of town it's just that I should know first on my own coutry well on what do Philippines offers to us.

The first place I want to know more is Banaue Rice Terraces. No trip to the Philippines could be complete without seeing the spectacular Banaue Rice Terraces. Carved from the mountain ranges about 2,000 years ago without modern tools by the Ifugao tribes, these magnificent farm terraces resemble giant steps reaching up to the sky. Locals to this day still plant rice and vegetables on the terraces, although more and more younger Ifugaos do not find farming appealing and emigrate to the cities. It will be very nice to learn about this historcal places and going there is a great pleasure .

The second place is Cebu.Cebu is the gateway to around two-thirds of the Philippine archipelago.Cebu is located 365 miles south of Manila, the capital of Philippines. The province belongs to the country’s Central Visayas Region. It can be reached in an hour by air travel or 22 hours by cruising the sea.Cebu because they have sulerb destinations, low operating cost compare to Metro Manila, and excellent governancy. In Cebu ,I can do many things like a tour in their historic places, play golf, hike mountain trails amd laze on pristine white sand and dive on exotic coral reefs.

The third place is Bohol. A National Heritage Site of the Phillippines.A must see as Carmen hills are unique and you can’t find them anywhere else in the world. There are at least 1,268 hills of 30 to 120 metres high spread over an area of around 50 square kilometres.
The name Chocolate hills was given to the hills because of the grey colour they have in dry season which looks like as if they were made of chocolate. Otherwise, not in dry season, the hills are covered with grass.

The fourth one is Kayangan Lake, Coron. The cleanest lake in Asia. The crystal-clear turquoise waters of Kayangan Lakeare absolutely surreal. The volcanic lake is nestled between two limestone mountains, the panorama views are just out of this world. An amazing place to go swimming or snorkeling, the water is fresh, clean and warm. There are Loads of shrimps and needle fish in the water.

Lastly, the fifth  place is the Hundred Islands,Pangasinan.I've been there for one day that's why I don't really enjoy it and because there's no enough time we just go over two islands: the turtle island and marcos island. If given a chance, I would like to go to all of the 100 islands eventhough it's impossible but I need to think positive.

In future, I will go all to that places and I can now travel internationally!!
So what you gonna do??? Pack your bags and leave tonight.
